Improving Direction and Control with Equus Academy

A step by step guided masterclass of exercises to improve control and direction throughout a course. The 51 minute masterclass is taught by professional trainer Vanessa Ambrosetti and featuring rider Edoardo, both out of Equus Academy.
The class covers:
-Warming up with proper flatwork
-Exercises to improve lengthening and shortening strides.
-Tactics to train through your horse spooking.
-Correct rider hand and body position throughout
training.
-Smooth transitions of gates.
-How to properly balance your horse to achieve a lead change.
-Exercises to improve your horses overall balance.
-Pole, caveletti, and jumping combination examples.

About Equus Academy:
Equus academy is a team of professional riders specializing in breaking of young horses, horse training for top national and international levels of Show Jumping and Dressage as well as horse trading.
About Vanessa:
Vanessa was born in Gallarate on May 12, 1986, graduated in Business Economics, 2nd degree knight and 2nd level federal instructor.
Passionate about horse riding since she was a child, she started practicing it at the age of 7. She grew up and trained at the Scuderia della Capinera under the guidance of the rider and coach Angelo Cristofoletti, achieving excellent results at a youth level with participation in various European pony, Junior and Young Rider championships. Vanessa then enriched her training with an experience abroad at the stables of the Swiss rider Thomas Fuchs.
Back in Italy she continued her collaboration with the Scuderia della Capinera as a rider and instructor, until the decision to take part in the Equus Academy project.
